SolTierra LLC was founded by U.S. Marine veteran Luis J. Montero with a singular mission: to empower underserved communities in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Our work is grounded in sustainability, disaster resilience, and education. We teach real-world, income-generating skills that help families become self-reliant in food production, energy, and emergency preparedness.
Born from the ashes of natural disasters and personal service, SolTierra is a beacon of hope—rebuilding community infrastructure, teaching life-sustaining practices, and fostering economic opportunity. From hydroponic systems to FEMA-certified training, everything we do is hands-on, rooted in purpose, and designed to create generational resilience.
